Florida Private Investigator Licensing Requirements

Private detective licenses in Florida are issued by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the United States, pass a written examination, and have either two years of documented investigative experience or college coursework in a related field.
