Virginia Private Investigator Licensing Requirements

Private investigator licenses in Virginia are issued by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. To qualify, an applicant must be 18-years or older, be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, submit fingerprints, and complete 60 hours of classroom training.
